Having come up through London hardcore’s DIY ecosystem and having applied the timeless values of supporting their scene through words and actions, REGRESS proudly fly the flag for the capital's signature sound.  Rucktion Records present the next generation of London Hardcore with 5 songs of metallic beatdown rage on their debut EP.
 
Continuing down the path paved at long gone London venues like The Verge, 12 Bar, Unicorn and others, the REGRESS formula blends blastbeats and beatdowns, gutteral vocals and upbeat spoken parts. Brutality meets bounce and groove. Metallic but not too polished, still rough round the edges, and finished off with heaps of slowed down nastiness guaranteed to incite dance floor chaos.
 
REGRESS’s blunt and heartfelt lyrics veer between dark and bleak, and to the point, as they unleash tirades against greed, mourn lost friends and display a passion for the scene they are so proud of. ‘This isn’t a fashion, this is my life and my passion’ goes beyond lyrical bluster and into real life actions, proving that London Hardcore is alive and well and in the right hands.
