New brutal UKHC from members of Special Move, Taking Names, Six Ft Ditch, BDF, 50 Caliber, Maldito, Beg For Mercy, Awoken and Eviscerate AD. Long-awaited debut cd "Forward Into Hell" is now out on Rucktion! Brand new lineup now active and booking shows!

On a cold night in Spring 2007, AMBUSH was born on a London backstreet. At this stage there was no plan, other than to come up with some heavy-as-lead hardcore. No pretences. No nonsense. No prisoners. Experience spoke for itself with the heads involved: Scott Move (Special Move), Peachey (Six Ft Ditch, Negative Vibez), Tub (Rough Justice, Eviscerate AD, Beg For Mercy), Trev (Taking Names) & Duncan (Six Ft. Ditch, Awoken).
The band began playing shows and honing their sound, before releasing the ‘Heavy Artillery’ demo, a rabid concoction led by slab-sized riffs and the double vocalizing of Peachey/Scott. It sold out within the space of 4 months. Well-received appearances followed at Germany’s Pressurefest and London’s Running Riot Fest, before Peachey decided to move to Sweden to continue his life of grime. Undeterred by this personnel change, AMBUSH slimmed down to a 4-piece and set about writing a debut album of mammoth proportions.
With a leaner line up came a meaner sound. As well as being strongly influenced by the musicians’ former acts, elements of thrash and even doom metal had begun to play a big part. However, make no mistake, AMBUSH definitely remains a hardcore band!
Having recently left to pursue other projects, Trev’s bass duties have been taken over by none other than Steve (BDF, 50 Caliber), increasing AMBUSH’s already impressive ‘former members’ roster.
The band themselves describe their crushing first full-length ‘Forward Into Hell’ as ‘likely to leave you feeling as if you’ve spent 31 minutes having your ears filled with concrete and your brain put through a blender’. You have been warned...

Formed in the mid 90's, BILLYCLUB SANDWICH play straight up raw and heavy New York Hardcore, mixing tales of personal struggle and disgust with a lighter look at life that is uniquely theirs.

These Bronx veterans draw plenty of influence from their neighbourhood, throwing in influences as different as thrash, hip hop and even merengue into the mix yet always tying them to an unmistakable NYHC stomp and groove. Equally competent at the traditional and the original, BCS move effortlessly between crazed blasting bursts of speed and ridiculously heavy beatdowns.

While they are more than capable of delivering a raging primal slab of HC, the creative and playful side of the band in their approach to song structures and subjects is equally evident throughout their releases. This fresh approach and BCS's mix of Spanish and English lyrics have won them respect far beyond their roots, including interest (as well as tourin gopportunities) in Puerto Rico, Europe, Japan and beyond.
Harsh, frantic playing and unbelievably harsh vocals are all too common in Hardcore these days - the refreshing and original approach BCS bring to the modern hardcore scene is sure to shatter misconceptions and vent frustrations, through both righteous anger and off kilter humour.

Over the course of their releases DEAL WITH IT have honed themselves into a unit equally at home in the studio laying down tight well-written crossover with acomplished musicianship and searing guitar solos, or punishing audiences with their ferocious live performance, featuring an out-ofcontrol frontman also unafraid to speak his mind.

Injury Time

Injury Time was a nameless project for a couple of years. Matty Nine Bar and DBS from Kartel were looking to play some good old fashioned hardcore the way they like it: fast parts, breakdowns, solos and mean vocals. With a line-up recruited from London punks 17 Stitches following their demise, the stage was set for some classic hardcore punk to take shape, mixing in heavier elements, DBS's unmistakable gruff voice and some catchy as hell guitar leads. The band switches effortlessly between catchy and driving sing-alongs, and darker, heavier bursts of speed and heaviness, demonstrating their depth and variety. Injury Time are no one-trick-ponies looking to ape one style in particular - they aspire to create their own. Their rough, negative and hateful style, full of tales of urban conflict, nihilism and denied redemption has won them fans far and wide, and their impassioned and energetic stage presence never fails to convince that they are the real deal.

Since their beginning the band sought to innovate rather than imitate, intending to create a combination of social/political awareness and aggression.
Feeling that hardcore had strayed from its roots and DIY ethic into subgenres like Emo and Chaotic Metal, a good, basic, heavy sound is their aim. Providence’s style is huge, metallic and epic, yet manages to be efficient and straight up at the same time. A low and thick dual guitar sound is underpinned by intense double-bass drumming, mostly switching between mid-tempo and punishing breakdowns but occasionally breaking into full-on bursts of hardcore speed.
The hoarse-growled vocals that complete this already potent formula are complimented by monstrous gang backups, spitting out venom on a variety of topics including politics, economy and the craziness of the world, yet maintaining a poetic turn of phrase.
Not motivated by fame, money or anything other than the passion they feel, not swayed by criticism or seeking anyone's approval, SURGE OF FURY have only ever followed their own hearts.
Although the band's roots and influences in heavy, aggressive hardcore are obvious, their approach to song writing is anything but - SURGE OF FURY's arrangements are far from typical, and always capable of keeping listeners on their toes with the way an ultra heavy, double-bass driven dance part can clobber you out of nowhere, or the fresh and imaginative twist they add to the standard hardcore song structure.
Nevertheless, there is plenty in their music to prove that the band also excel at creating straight up raging ultra fast hardcore, with harsh bellowed vocals and furious group backups.
With their combination of fast, manic energy and off kilter staccato heaviness, it's clear that SURGE OF FURY have sought to innovate rather than clone anything that has come before them. Honed into a tight and experienced unit by years of playing together across Europe, the band remain bonded together by the music they love, and have seen many come and go while they have continued to hold true.

TRC are an 8 man wrecking machine from North West London, formed in the spring of 2003. Drawing on influences from all over and combining harsh, street influenced hatecore with strict underground UK hip hop, they have a sound like no other.

Recent line-up changes, including drummer Chris Tyson switching to vocals, and the addition of Taking Names drummer Matt and Bun Dem Out guitarist Charlie have not dented their hard-hitting and furious live onslaught. Featuring 3 singers and some spitting courtesy of AC, which never fails to ignite the crowd and gain them attention, this is far more than your run-of-the-mill played out rapcore.
With a far more to-the-point delivery than their contemporaries, and uniquely arrogant attitude and subject matter, TRC breathe new life into a genre that is difficult to excel at, and have created a distinctive identity and a sound that is sure to bring chaos to dance floors far and wide.

Formed in late 2006, Bristol's TRUE VALIANCE have come a long way from their origins as a group of friends playing covers and trying to kickstart a hardcore scene in their city. Having now built a strong local following and taken their energetic and passionate live set around the UK and beyond, this band is hungry to get back out there as much as possible.
TRUE VALIANCE's style could be best described as mosh meets melody and message, taking
Catch them live in their home town if possible - the band puts everything into their performance, and the crazed reaction of the crowd is not to be missed - but wherever they go TRUE VALIANCE bring the same devotion and dedication to the music they love, and are determined to continue down this path for as long as possible.influences from 90's metallic hardcore but adding in a more modern ferocity and some lighter, more uplifting moments of melodic sincerity. Tight musicianship welds these apparently incompatible elements together, and with a singer also capable of bridging the gap between these styles it is easy to see how TRUE VALIANCE can share bills with a diverse array of bands yet provoke the same reaction. Lyrics range from heartfelt, positive and forward-looking to furious and vengeful hatred for authority and other oppressors.

Wisdom In Chains

Wisdom In Chains was started a few years back with members from America and Europe.
Maarten, a guitar player from Holland in a band called Daredevil made the call to Richie and Mad Joe who where in Krutch at the time. Maarten had the idea to start an old school band, with heavy punk and Oi influences. The three met while Krutch was on tour in Europe.
The plans where made and Maarten came to the USA to record. The group released a self entitled CD on Gangstyle Records. Only one show was ever performed by the group due to the extreme distance between the members.
Eventually Maarten who was a key writer in the band would convince Richie and Joe to find local members and keep this band going. So they recruited local guitar star and just crazy motherfucker in general Tony Meltdown. Tony was in a band called The Ninth Plague and basically shreds on the guitar. Shannon Sparky was brought in on drums, he was a logical choice. Shannon also played with Richie and Mad Joe in another band called Out To Win (aka MUSHMOUTH). The search was on for the bass player, and the only guy that could jam with these cats was Big Show Greg, a local trouble maker and drunk.
The new line-up was complete and now the band is hitting the highways and playing killer street rock with heavy old school HC and OI influence.
The members of this band have played and toured with other bands like Krutch, FCK, The Ninth Plague, Boxcutter, Out To Win, Feeble and others, they are no new jack fuckos. They paid their dues and they do this music shit well.

"In My Tox City" cd

Straight outta Tox City, aka Liege, Belgium, comes the third full-length CD by SURGE OF FURY. Containing 15 tracks of monstrous street-level hardcore, "IN MY TOX CITY" is a mix of straight-ahead raging speed and vicious stop-and-start brutality that definitely gives the band a unique identity. Tracks like the opener "Dedication" and the ultra-fast "Forever" prove that SURGE OF FURY are much more than competent at injecting the hardcore basics into their sound, and the band even throw in touches like the football terrace style change on "LGHC" and some Oi! Oi! backups, adding a raucous, punky edge and proving they are willing to experiment outside of what is expected from their style. But what really sets SURGE OF FURY apart from the pack is the pounding, choppy groove that pulsates throughout the course of the album, always appearing when you least expect it and each time building up to a ferociously heavy conclusion. Filled with original song writing, manic speed and huge beats sure to get any crowd moving, topped-off with harsh roared vocals and huge group backups, SURGE OF FURY blend innovation and tradition to devastating effect.
Paris' Providence destroy everything in their path with 7 tracks of monstrous metallic fury on their debut MCD 'Far Beyond Our Depth'.

Total new school hardcore brutality filled with devastating beatdowns and crushing mid-tempo stomp parts, Providence's downtuned mix of basic bludgeoning aggression and more complex structures conjures up a dark and bleak vision. Sure to inspire frenzied reactions with its punishing and drawn-out danceparts, 'Far Beyond Our Depth' features furious double-bass drumming overlayed with a dense and impenetrable wall of dual guitars.

Hoarse vocals, with occasional spoken passages, and huge gang backups complete the equation, as do distinctive and original elements such as the hip-hop influenced drumming on 'Tentacles of Evilution' or the melodic singalongs on the epic closing track 'This is Filthy Paris'.

The menacing poetry of Providence's lyrics is reflected in the bleak yet beautiful artwork, the perfect accompaniment to titles such as 'Swim and Sink' and 'With Broken Wings' which are filled with veiled meaning and menacing imagery. Of course, many bands in this day and age can boast similar elements to their style, but the efficiency, economy and to-the-point aggression Providence display is sure to set them head and shoulders above the competition.
Not one note is wasted, making 'Far Beyond Our Depth' a breathtaking and accomplished metallic hardcore debut.

'Hooked on Revenge' brings to mind the sound that previous bands from the South West of the UK made their own, mixing dark, pounding tunes with an inspirational attitude.
Themes of vengence and hope run both musically and lyrically through this EP, from the positive message and energy of 'Values' to the furious stomp and hatred of authority conveyed by the title track. Despite being held together by a continuous brutal street-level groove, the band journeys through a myriad of styles, taking from hardcore, punk, rock, metal and post-hardcore to create an intricate and technical sound that, it is safe to say, is completely their own yet fits in well with the acts alongside them on Rucktion Records.

Combining the above influences in a convincing manner requires a high standard of musicianship, and without doubt this is something the band possesses in abundance. The songs rage along from faster paced tracks to solid beatdown-style riffs to dirge like songs seamlessly. Total unrelenting brutality. Great songs, excellent recording, intense lyrics... I can't find a bad thing about this CD. The sheer heaviness of this band along with TAD's delivery on vocals & lyrics puts this band in a league of their own." Chains of Hate were formed from the ashes of Twist The Knife (Cardiff Hardcore, Wales). More inspired than before, Speed and Jammo stayed as they were (guitar and bass), Tommy stepped up to vocal duties and good friend Jordan (Elsid) completed the lineup as the new drummer.

As summer '09 approached, Chains Of Hate joined the notorious Rucktion Records family. Their debut album is due as is a stint around Europe with their brothers in True Valiance. No one can stop'em now. Let the games begin....

Storming straight out of South Wales UK come CHAINS OF HATE with their blistering first MCD
‘Cold Harsh Reality’, seven tracks of tough street-level hardcore fury.
The band’s sound is clearly influenced by the US East Coast way of doing things, incorporating
monstrous grooving parts and choppy rhythms to compliment their more straight-up hardcore
elements, such as bass breaks leading into traditional aggressive speed. However, CHAINS OF
HATE prove themselves head and shoulders above any clones, plenty of personality shines through
in their music and obviously heartfelt lyrics, delivered with gruff yet clear conviction, and supported
by huge backups. Covering topics such as dealing with the struggles of life, learning lessons the
hard way and gaining from them, not giving in, and fighting for what’s yours creates an explosive
combination of true life content and stripped down musical power.
‘Cold Harsh Reality’ is a perfect title for CHAINS OF HATE’s debut - unflinching straight to the
point hardcore, heavy yet not excessively metallic, an accomplished and confident debut from a
determined young band.

With a line-up featuring past and current members of such hard-hitting acts as EVISCERATE AD,
SPECIAL MOVE, BDF, 50 CALIBER, TAKING NAMES, AWOKEN and SIX FT DITCH, it will come as
no surprise that AMBUSH’s debut full-length ‘Forward Into Hell’ is a masterclass in ultra-heavy
metallic hardcore, taking influences from the aforementioned bands yet stylistically in a league all
of its own.
Crammed full of incredibly heavy yet well-written and catchy music, ‘Forward Into Hell’ takes the
listener from slow dirges and sludgy, doom-laden riffing all the way to brutal crossover thrash
tempos. The dark, dirty and distinctive style that this diverse yet fluid mix of old school metal riffs
and hardcore agression creates is complemented by atmospheric and uneasy sounding sequences,
samples and keyboard interludes, all provided by Josh Hart from STOUT (Baltimore).
AMBUSH’s lyrical content is every bit as brutal, direct and forceful as the music it accompanies,
filled with images of war, death, hate and persistance, with singer Scott Move’s furious bellowing
and roaring vocals supported up by huge gang back-ups, as well as Swoz of HARD TARGET on the
title track.
Filled with punishing, drawn-out vicious breakdowns sure to whip any dancefloor into a frenzy,
yet far removed from one-dimensional beatdown hardcore, AMBUSH’s debut is original yet also
immediately memorable, 11 tracks of pounding speed and crushing heaviness sure to stick in any
Having been a cult act in their local scene for years, their eagerly anticipated shows filled with chaos and carnage, London’s PROWLER have at last followed up on their live reputation and the promise shown by their early split demo with TRC and comp appearances. ‘Strictly 3.5’ is 13 tracks of pure London hardcore, taken to its most savage and pounding extremes.
Featuring tunes from early in the band’s career right up to the present day, how PROWLER have progressed and expanded from their early roots in beatdown hardcore into something far darker, more complex and monstrous is plain to see. There is nevertheless a strong thread of continuity, and the band’s talent for writing memorable material is obvious. Compare the more stripped down basic approach of ‘Time For Action’ or ‘S.B.E.’ to the epic, overly metallic drawn out opener ‘Hope She Dies’, followed by the pounding speed and groove of ‘Bitch Tune’. Well crafted, pulverizing and immense riffs just keep coming, whether fast and traditional or the 1mph full on brutality that has long brought danger to dancefloors across London and beyond. An extra level of intensity is added by singer Nathan’s hoarse rapid-fire flows, delivering tales and opinions on numerous aspects of life, from personal relationships to keeping it together and succeeding in the troubled times we live in. London’s best-kept secret for far too long, the sounds of ‘Strictly 3.5’ are a rough and ready slab of harsh metallic beatdown hardcore, that is sure to expose PROWLER to a whole new audience totally unprepared for the fury that they unleash!

After releasing various demos, splits and a 7 inch, London’s INJURY TIME have recorded their debut full-length CD, 13 tracks of furious hardcore punk rock with wide-ranging influences and yet the same negative and embittered theme running throughout.
‘The Vex’ fully displays INJURY TIME’s versatility, taking the listener from dark and nihilistic to anthemic, from epic to immediate and urgent. Elements of metal, hardcore and punk collide yet are all underpinned by a tight and solid musical basis, while DBS’s ultra-gruff yet emotive vocals are as throaty and raw as they are passion-filled. Contrast the thrash-influenced ‘Holy shit’, the melodic chorus of ‘Skunknuts’ and the epic and solo-filled title track and you have a sense of this band’s diversity, as they effortlessly blend together mid-paced catchy guitar leads, shout-along choruses and blazing 2-minute long bursts of agressive speed.
Filled with plenty of cynical opinions, on religion, love, the scene and life in general, yet still finding time to tackle other topics such as lost friends and drinking anthems, ‘The Vex’ is a well rounded, catchy, and utterly raging slice of punk rock energy meets hardcore heaviness that will undoubtedly

"The Real Deal II" cd

Rucktion Records are extremely proud to welcome UK's DEATHSKULLS to the label with their second full-length recording "THE REAL DEAL II", 15 tracks of ultra-fast vicious hardcore punk mayhem, with a style and attitude all of its own. At the core of the DEATHSKULLS sound is an all-out thrash assault reminiscent of many a classic 80's hardcore act. Drummer Niky's furious skin pounding is perfectly matched by lightening-speed guitar riffs that stop and start in an instant, bludgeoning the listener round the head with several tunes barely reaching a minute long. However, plenty of other tracks prove that the band can expand on their formula, and are equally adept at slowing things down and playing some classic shout-along UK punk/oi!, as well as adding heavier elements of a more modern hardcore groove, and even some doom-laden riffing to their songs.

Other members of the band take turns on the mic, but the bulk of DEATHSKULLS' vocals are handled by guitarist Mad John, his vicious rapid-fire snarl delivering some of the most simultaneously hilarious, sarcastic and straight-up takes on numerous aspects of life, with titles such as "U Bore The Shit Outta Me", "Grow A Pair Of Nuts" and "The Building Game Is Pony" wasting absolutely no time in getting to the point.

The combination of manic speed, aggressive heaviness, tuneful guitar leads and distinctive, blunt opinions is what undoubtedly sets DEATHSKULLS apart from the punk rock pack, their personality and furious energy shining through both on record and on stage.
